Mesa Linda Hispanic Heritage Carnival

From the desk of Mrs. Tuttle, Principal, Mesa Linda Middle School

Mesa Linda had their first-ever Hispanic Heritage Carnival! The event was sponsored by ASB and all of the many clubs at Mesa Linda. Each club designed their own booths and was able to earn money towards different club activities. There were also a couple of food trucks and a DJ playing music honoring Hispanic Heritage. There were a great turnout and fun was had by all. Mesa Linda staff hopes to continue this tradition in the future.

Paraprofessional Training-- paraprofessional training oct 2019

From the Desk of Dr Fal, CAO

Thanks to our leaders- Ms. Baker, Ms. Fernandez, para leader Ms. Avigliano, Coordinators Ms Malana and Ms. Vides, and Director  Ms. Belcher, who planned and provided the workshops today. We had a tremendous turnout at the district wide four-day para training. Today was the first day- the trainers will lead three more training sessions to address several components of the Para daily responsibility.

A big thanks for all the planning and coordination provided by our own Regina. Really glad we are making sure that our Paras feel the respect and trust we have for them to support the work we do in Special Education.
