The students at Bradach School went on a kindness adventure with Ned recently. During the assembly, the students were taken on a journey to Africa through storytelling, magic illusions, music, and interactive videos. On their journey, our students were introduced to the students at Bidii Primary School in Nairobi Kenya. Our students learned about the challenges their Kenyan counterparts face with having clean water, school supplies, and adequate housing and resources. The students at Bidii meet these challenges with kindness and smiles. While our students learned about the different tribes and culture of Africa, they also learned that caring is cool, to include others, that different can be cool, that everyone matters and that friends can be made anywhere. After the assembly, Bradach School was given the opportunity to pay it forward through a sale of handmade Kenyan treasures. The sale helps to pay for the assembly at other schools and to bring clean water to Kenyan villages. Raising globally aware citizens is a mission at Bradach School and having Ned bring the Kindness Adventure to our site is just one of the ways we achieve our mission.
