The Adelanto School District is growing rapidly. We have over 900 more students than this time last year and we are expecting many more.
Thank you for your continued cooperation with our new walking distances that went in to effect , August 16. Our increased walking distances (still shorter than our neighboring school districts) allow us to decrease bus routes, use fewer busses, and provide a needed savings to the district's general fund.
The Adelanto School District will continue to emphasize the importance of attending school daily. Teachers have started teaching the grade level standards for the new grade and every missed day is a loss of key instructional time for absent students.
We will be meeting most of our assessment needs by using on line testing, which we developed in our district. This will provide real time reporting and save money and resources.
