Dear Parents and/or Guardians:
The Child Nutrition Department is pleased to inform you that we will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2017-2018 School Year. The following sites are CEP schools:
Adelanto Elementary School
Bradach Elementary School
Columbia Middle School
Eagle Ranch Elementary School
El Mirage Elementary School
George Magnet School
Mesa Linda Middle School
Morgan Kincaid Elementary School
Theodore Vick Elementary School
Victoria Magathan Elementary School
West Creek Elementary School
Westside Park Elementary School
What does this mean for our students attending the schools identified above?
Great news for our students! All enrolled students of the Adelanto School District attending the CEP school sites, are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge each day of the 2017-2018 school year. No further action is required of the families. Students will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.
Students attending Gus Franklin and Melva Davis will need to submit an application to qualify for the meal program, unless they receive notification stating they are automatically certified for free or reduced meals.
We will no longer be using PayPAMS for on-line payments. We will now be using Titan School Solutions.
Parents can pay for school breakfast and lunch online, monitor your child’s meal account balance, and receive low-balance email alerts through the new Titan School Solutions program. The online payment option is a quick and secure way to deposit money to your child’s meal account by using a debit or credit card. A $2.60 transaction fee will be charged per credit card transaction.
