On Wednesday, September 27, 2017 Anthony Lowe, a 4th grade student at Morgan Kincaid School, was presented with the Rotary Club’s S.T.A.R. award and a gift card at their luncheon. The student is also asked what they want to be when they grow up; Anthony answered that he wants to be a football player when he grows up.
Mr. Stultz, Anthony’s teacher wrote the following introduction that was read at the Rotary Club’s meeting:
“Anthony has had an outstanding change in his attitude since the end of the 2016-2017 school year and this has carried over in to the new school year. He has started off 4th grade with a positive outlook. He has a more positive attitude regarding coming to school and is working hard on controlling his reactions and making good choices. I am excited to see all of the academic growth he will make this year with his improved attitude and effort. We want Anthony to know that we recognize how hard he is working to do better and we are proud of him.”
