Welcome To Gus Franklin Jr. STEM Academy

Gus Franklin STEM School gives students access to science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We are a fully integrated STEM school and currently infuse Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Launch Curriculum. We are proud that our students, staff, teachers and parents work together to increase students' awareness in 21st Century Learning.

Our Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) vision is to ignite the spark of global ingenuity, creativity and imagination within all our students.

CAASPP Testing April 29th - May 31st!

CAASPP ImageCAASPP Testing Starts April 29th!

Each spring, students in grades three through eight participate in the California Assessment of
Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). This test is conducted across all schools and
our teachers have been preparing our students for these tests all year. This year, the tests are
scheduled from April 29-May 31 and your child's school will send more details regarding their
testing timelines.

Family Engagement Center Parent Survey

AESD Family Engagement Center Parent Survey: We want to hear from our parents! This survey is an opportunity for you to help the AESD by sharing your opinions about the AESD Family Engagement Center. 2019-2020 GFS School Interests forms for 1st through 5th grade are available starting March 6th at 9:30 am

Please bring a copy of attendance, discipline for full current school year and the last report card.  If there are special education services that are required please bring a copy of the IEP so that we can be sure students have access to the correct placement.
