The mission of Desert Trails School is to promote learning and social growth for all students. The instructional program and school environment will promote academic success for all students as a well as social growth through the combined efforts of parents, staff and community which will allow student the opportunity to become responsible, respectful, resourceful and informed citizens.

The team at Desert Trails School includes all of our students, parents, teachers, support staff and community. Communication is a vital skill in today's society. Our students are given many opportunities to build their communication skills at Desert Trails School. Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking are vital tools for communication. This is a major part of our English Language Arts instructional program. We also have a Drama Club, an Art Club, our Desert Trails TV broadcasts, Student Council and the Yearbook Club to supplement this program. Communication within our team keeps us all focused on the main goal of our school. This goal is to help all students achieve academic success.
