Superheroes Reads Night @ George VAPA

George Super Hero Reads Night

George hosted the second annual Superheroes Read Night!  This was an event for all ages to celebrate reading and all things Superheroes.   There were crafts and activities for families, a costume contest for best Superhero, special awards for the AR competition winners in grades 1-8, and a special guest appearance by Deadpool.  Many families were in attendance and enjoyed this family fun event.  All proceeds from this event will go towards the purchase of new books for our School Library.  Thank you to the George staff and families for your support!

Thank you, Community Partners!

Community outreach from our partners

Eighteen lucky students at George Visual and Performing Arts School received a free bike and helmet from our community partners on Friday, February 12, 2016. One boy and one girl from each grade level TK-8 were chosen to receive the bikes as recognition for their outstanding citizenship and behavior.
We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Andrade, RAS Air Conditioning and Appliance Repair, Victorville Hyundai, Walmart 395 and Palmdale Road, and Deputy Mike McCurley for the generous donation! AESD is so lucky to have this amazing support from our community partners!
