We will be providing free student meals to all children under the age of 18 during the instructional day closures from 11 - 12:30 pm daily at the following 4 locations: Adelanto Elementary, George, Morgan Kincaid, and Ted Vick. Meals will be “grab and go” using a drive through style hand off. Walk ups are welcomed too. Child(ren) must be present to pick up the meal. Also, AESD has created weekly resources for your child to maintain their academic skills during our school closure. You may access the materials by picking up a weekly paper packet at our district office lobby area from 10 - 2 pm or click on the top tab labeled "Education Opportunities on our website".

Principal's Message

Ramon Rizo

We are so excited to be hosting the Adelanto Virtual Academy on our campus this year! The Adelanto Virtual Academy consists of the Bridges to Success program and the Connections program... both are a part of the District's mission to prepare students to be successful in high school, in college, in future careers and in the 21st century global community. The Bridges to Success Program utilizes on-line curriculum that the teachers support with small group instruction and classroom lessons. The Connections program utilizes the same online curriculum but "hosts" students in a different way, allowing students who need an alternative setting to flourish. Counselors from the Adelanto Elementary School District and DMCC support the program goals of teaching students to effectively communicate with others and be responsible for their behavior. Restorative Practices interventions are consistently utilized throughout the school day to ensure an on-going positive school learning environment is maintained. Smaller class sizes help students achieve academic and behavior goals. Students and their parents are taking pride in their accomplishments. I am so proud to be a part of this new chapter for AVA!
