What is the Board of Education?
The Adelanto Elementary School District Board of Trustees is a five-member governing body elected by the community to oversee the district's educational standards and long-term fiscal health. Tasked with upholding the constitutions of California and the United States, the Board establishes district policies, approves the annual budget, and manages essential functions such as facilities, human resources, and collective bargaining.
They work closely with the Superintendent to ensure that every student has access to a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment. By hosting regular public meetings, the Board fosters transparency and encourages community engagement to help the district achieve its vision of educational excellence.
