Welcome to the Learn, Play, Grow Expanded Learning Programs of the Adelanto Elementary School District!

My name is Dr. Omaira Lee, and I am truly honored to serve as your Director of Expanded Learning and Enrichment. Over my 32 years as an educator—working as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, principal, AVID District Director, and administrator—my core mission has always been student success and educational equity. Every single day, I am inspired by the dedication of our staff and the pure enthusiasm of our students.

Our programs are funded through the After School Education and Safety Grant (ASES) and Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P), which allows us to provide afterschool and summer enrichment for students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) all the way through middle school.

When we talk about “expanded learning,” we mean before school, after school, summer, or intersession programs designed to nurture your child's hands-on, engaging experiences. In line with the state Legislature's vision, our programs are student-centered, results-driven, and built alongside community partners to complement—not just replicate—what your children learn during the regular school day.

We put student voice and choice at the forefront, creating programs that students don’t just need, but genuinely want to attend. Whether they are diving into STEM, discovering a passion for the arts, staying active, or getting extra academic support, we are here to empower every student on their journey toward graduation.
