Melva Davis Academy of Excellence is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) Campus with a focus on Whole Student Learning & Enrichment. Our programs are career-oriented, and taught by a highly qualified staff in specialized classrooms. Located in North Victorville, the school mascot is the Titan, and holds an enrollment of over 800 students.

Student Services: Ready for 7th Grade? Make sure your shots are up to date!

Parents of All 7th grade Students:

California's School immunization laws require that all students entering 7th grade have the following immunizations:

  • Varicella (Two doses are required, one after the child's 7th birthday)
  • Tdap (Tdap booster required prior to 7th grade entry)

All incoming 7th graders will be required to show proof of these immunizations prior to the first day of school, August 10, 2020. Any student without the required immunizations may be excluded from school and absences will be marked unexcused.  A list of local pharmacies and clinic offering these vaccinations is available on our web-site, aesd.net.   We would like to thank you if your child has already received these immunizations and you have submitted the proof to the school.  IF your child has already received the immunizations but you  have not submitted the verification, you may do so over the summer by emailing a copy of your child's immunization record to Beth Bartholomew, Director of the Student Services at beth_bartholomew@aesd.net.  If you have any questions, please contact the Student Services Department at (760) 246-8691.

2020.2021 New Student Application

Interested in attending Melva Davis Academy next school year?  We are accepting applications starting January 6th, 2020.  Remember to bring a copy of  your students attendance, discipline and academic records to the Melva Davis Office.  You may turn in most recent report card when you receive it in early January. When submitting your application you will be given a receipt for proof of submission.  If you have any questions please call the office at 760-530-7650.

We will begin mailing acceptance letters in the middle of March.
