Assistant Principal Message

Dear Mesa Linda Middle School Community,

It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Brice Scott, as the Assistant Principal at Mesa Linda Middle School (MLMS). My passion for education and supporting the success of all students has been shaped over the past several years as an educator in many forms. Throughout my experience in education, I have sought to ensure the success of each student and the school by developing positive relationships and connecting with the school community. I have had the privilege of getting to know the amazing students, parents, and staff of MLMS, while also reflecting upon the rich school history. I have unique first-hand experience of this school history as I was a student at MLMS many years ago. I am beyond excited for this wonderful opportunity to come back and influence the next generation of MLMS students.

In our learning community, all staff and parents work together to inspire and nurture every student to become a college-bound life-long learner in a global society. We are greatly excited about the progress and evolution of education for MLMS students. As our world has become more diverse than ever coupled with the advent of new technologies, we have devoted our efforts to the implementation of a new school plan that provides course pathways in athletics, media, and the arts.

We genuinely believe in supporting all students in various areas centered on high standards of literacy, critical thinking, and real world problem-solving skills. I am confident that this mindset will lead our students to all-around success. I look forward to great years ahead and meeting more of our MLMS community!

Brice Scott, Ed.D.
